I am addicted to pure shea butter for deep tissue massage. I tried this balm as a comparison and loved it. Yes, it has a mild aroma of cocoa butter which people usually love or hate. But, unlike the pure cocoa butter stick which has a strong nutty odor, this balm is lightly scented and disappears after a few minutes of working into skin. I highly recommend this for any focused deep tissue work as the glide is superior for slow moving and your hand won't slip and slide all over the skin.

Very disappointed with this cocoa balm. Slight racid smell noticeable to both me and my client. I understand that you use less, however, very greasy feeling. I should have tried a sample size first.
Answer: The aroma that you were smelling was not rancid but was the soy oil and we have added extra anti-oxidants in order that the oil maintain its characteristic fresh scent.

Where can I get a list of the other ingredients? Does it have dimethicone? Also, from the comments, I am assuming this isn't one that you could add oils to?
