I am a hot stone massage therapist and this product works very well for this modality. It melts nicely and works will with water. I like this product!

I love this too. It glides well, and I haven't had any problem with deep tissue use or congealing. It washes off hands easily and comes out of sheet well too - no staining or smell.

To me, there is really no comparison to be made between the Massage Butter and the Dual Purpose Cream. The Massage Butter seems to allow for superior control yet glide!

Have been using the Deep Tissue Lotion for years, on many clients, as I do alot of deep work. Surprisingly, I really love this Massage Butter (and surprisingly, so do many of my clients). It's truly a "one of kind" product which isn't greasy and has wonderful glide (yet control, at the same time). I have never had a problem (as someone wrote above) with it congealing when left opened for 15 minutes or longer. Most of my clients now specifically request that this be used (instead of massage oil.

Not good for deep tissue...too oily. If exposed to air for more than 15 minutes, starts to congeal and makes for an awful glide on the skin. Don't waste your money. Get the Dual Purpose Cream instead and you will love it!
